Big week!

Hey little brother! I'm so sorry that I didn't update the blog the last two weeks. I had the flu, then Ky did, then Mike did! It's been bad.

Next week is a big week for Mike! He will be sworn in April 1st at 9:00am as a U.S. citizen! Yipee. He also applied for the radiology program at Weber state. We have been praying like crazy and fasting. (He applied last year too :() But we just got a letter that said he will be going to the next round of applicants. He has an interview on Wednesday! EEEK! Please say a prayer for Mike!I'm so excited/nervous!

Kyden is growing so fast! He throws, and catches balls. He started saying "Ball". Jonathan he is so cute! He's sweet, and definately a boy! He is crazy! The best part is he doesn't like to watch TV but he will watch 2 things (besides theme songs to tv shows. He likes those) But he actually watch a full episode of Yo Gabba Gabba, and Basketball! It's awesome!

He has four teeth on botom (front 4), and four teeth on top (front four...the one on his far left just popped out) and one molar. so 9 teeth! He is very verbal.

I have 23 people on my scentsy team. But not very many of them actually sell. It's kinda frustrating. We usually avg about 3,000 sold in a month. I won't start making real money (more than 400) until we start selling 10,000 a month. We'll see. Hopefully by the time I finish school we will be there. I want to be a stay at home mom so bad when I finish school but I can't if we aren't making real money since we will have to start paying on my student loans. We will see. I still have another year to get there :)
I was going to be graduating in May but still work on my teaching licensing the following fall and spring (student teaching). But I found out I can't get fafsa if I have my degree so I am putting of graduation an entire year so I can get fafsa. Otherwise I couldn't afford to finish my teaching license. It's frustrating but it is, what it is.

Here are some videos of Ky :)
Watch how he pats the elephant on the back when he hugs it. So cute.

March 3rd

Hey little brother! There has been some pretty big changes...not really but hey. Mike's cousin Niger and his wife Mirella are amazing and gave us their old couches! FINALLY we have couches in our front room! Kyden loves to play in it. We also cut up the extra carpet from the basement that was being stored in the garage to make rugs! Yipee. Our house is starting to look like a home! SOrry about the mess.

I was recently hired at East High school as an Outreach mentor for the Gear up program. It is a program for students who are having a hard time in school. Not passing, or need to get back on track to graduation. They each have 1 class peroid in our classroom where they catch up in all their classes. I monitor their grades and get them set up for packets for classes they failed in previous years. I also make sure they have a tutor (college students who stay for the entire day and just tutor the entire time they are there). I love it. They are good kids. Most of them are just trying to survive so school is not a pirority. Many of them work a full time job because their parents can't since they are undocumented (are here illegally) and are not able to find work. Honestly if I was working to feed my family I wouldn't care about school either. I am so grateful to have been raised in a family where I could be a kid. Dad is AMAZING! ANyway the best part about this job is that it is super flexible. For example on Mondays and Wed dad watches ky while I am in class from 7-3. I actually have a 2 hour break between the two so I will just go to east and get in 2 ours (East is just around the corner from the U). Then on the Tuesdays and THursdays that Mike has off (He works a rotating shift of 4 10 hour shifts. He usually only works 1 Tues and THurs a month) So I am usually able to work the full hours those days. The even better part is I was hired at 13.22 an hour! So even though I work part time I will make 1400 a month! SWEET!

I recently got an email that said I am being considered for a scholarship.... a 10,000 dollar scholarship! If I get this we wouldn't have to take out ANY student loans next year! That would be AMAZING.

We hear about the radiology program that Mike applied for next month! We will be praying and fasting! ugh I hope Mike gets in. This will determine whether or not we decide to have another baby (I had a dream that I was supposed to have another and keep getting promted to). If he gets in than he wont have to work full time and Mike and I can switch rolls. (most of the radiology program is online so he'll be home with the kids while I am at work)

Mandze is leaving for her mission to Guatemala on the 20th! Ugh I am so sad yet happy! I can't explain how hard it was for me to let you go Jonathan! I miss you every single day. It is going to be hard to have both of you out. You are my fave from our family and Mandze from Mike's!
Anyway here are some pics! I love you with all my heart!

ps what do you mean the warmer is leaking? Is it the dish? Is it cracked?....are you sure you have it on right?
